WATERFORD, MI - The Metro Jets ended their two-game losing skid with an 8-2 win over the Flint Jr. Generals Saturday night at Lakeland Arena.
Metro captain Matt Stirling and Andrew Palushaj each had a goal and four asissts to lead new goalie Alex Nedeljkovic's 38 saves in net.
Nedeljkovic started the season with the OHL's Plymouth Whalers.
Josh Hosking recorded a goal and two assists, Jeff Monfils two goals plus a helper and Mike Gambino and Doug Andrews each had a goal and an assist for the Jets (6-8-0-0).
Alex Holm also scored in the win.
Jacob Howie and Eddie Osowski scored for Flint and Patrick Drazkowski finished with 25 saves.
The Jets travel to Battle Creek Sunday afternoon for a 1:30 p.m. puck drop.
