Chapie nets a pair to guide Jets past Mountain Cats Sunday

WATERFORD, MI - Ryan Chapie scored two goals and Alex Nedeljkovic made 33 saves as the Metro Jets defeated the Michigan Mountain Cats 6-2 Sunday afternoon at Lakeland Arena for their fourth consecutive victory.

Captain Matt Stirling, Alex Holm and Mike Gambino each had a goal and an assist and Devon D'Angelo also scored to go along with two assists from Jeff Monfils.

Metro (9-8-0-0) now heads to Blaine, Minn., for the four-day NA3HL Showcase next weekend. The Jets will play the Alexandria Blizzard, North Iowa Bulls, Peoria Mustangs and St. Louis Jr. Blues.
